A man's been charged with possessing a bladed article following a incident in Ipswich.

It happened in Christchurch Park around 8.10pm on Monday 29 July, with 48 year-old Keith McKenzie, of Bond Street, arrested the following day (30th July) on suspicion of a number of offences.

Police have now confirmed McKenzie has been charged with two counts of possession of bladed article.

He's due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court today (Thursday 1 August).
