CCTV appeal after elderly woman burgled in Ipswich

Police are trying to trace two people in connection with the incident last year

CCTV images have been released in the investigation into a burglary in Ipswich.

An elderly woman was in her living room in Sinclair Drive on 12 December 2020 when offenders gained access to a spare room between 5.50pm and just after 6pm.

Jewellery was taken following an untidy search of the property.

Police are trying to identify two people pictured in the CCTV images in connection with the burglary.

The first suspect is a white male who was wearing a grey and navy 'NY' baseball cap, a black balaclava and a black hooded top with a small yellow or orange logo on the breast and white writing on the sleeves.

He was also wearing black gloves, black trousers, brown shoes and spoke with an Irish accent.

The second was described as a white male wearing a black baseball cap with a motif on the front, a black balaclava, black tracksuit and black shoes with a white sole.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/72305/20.
