A cyclist is seriously injured in hospital after a crash involving a car in a village between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to Front Street in Ousden at around 12pm on Saturday (June 3) after a collision involving a bike and a black Audi A3.

A man in his 50s was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, where he remains.

He is said to be in a stable condition.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage at the scene to get in touch.
