Police hunt man who spat at woman and child in Haverhill

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man spat at a woman who was with her children in Haverhill.
It happened on the recreation ground in Camps Road at around 3.30pm on Tuesday 20 June.
The woman was walking along a path between the toilet block and the junction of Recreation Road and Clements Lane when the man intentionally spat towards her.
The suspect is described as a skinny white male, between 5ft 9ins and 5t 10ins tall, wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap.
After spitting, he carried on towards the public toilet block.
Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
