A comedy show headlined by Griff Rhys Jones and featuring a host of household names has raised £133,200 for East Anglia's Children's Hospices.
Dara Ó Briain, Dame Joanna Lumley, Rob Brydon and Rick Wakeman were among big names to appear at the Ipswich Regent on Monday night for Happy Christmas Ipswich 4.
EACH Director of Fundraising Kevin Clements said: “What an amazing night – a magical and unforgettable triumph,”
“It was surely the best one yet and the line-up and money raised was incredible.
“The feedback as people were walking out of the auditorium was simply fantastic.
“There was a palpable sense of emotion in the audience and so much warmth generated towards all the acts and especially Griff.
“He puts on a truly unique show and we couldn’t be more appreciative or in awe of what he manages to achieve every year.
“We thank him so much and this money will make such a monumental difference to the children, young people and families receiving our care and support.”
East Anglia's Children's Hospices support young people with life-limiting conditions, alongside their families, across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.
