Five arrested in connection to cannabis factory in Lakenheath

It’s thought over 300 cannabis plants were on the premises

Suffolk police have arrested five people in connection with a cannabis factory in Lakenheath.

Officers conduced a warrant on Thursday December 15th at a property on Back Street in Lakenheath and discovered a large amount of cannabis plant.

Five males were arrested in connection with the find: ranging in ages from 27 to 55. The five were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and taking to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where they remain for questioning.

The investigation is ongoing.
