Greater Anglia warn passengers of busy trains ahead of Latitude Festival
Greater Anglia have put measures in place to try and help
Greater Anglia says they're expecting to see a large increase in the number of people using their services over the next few days due to the festival Latitude at Henham Park, but they say they are prepared.
The festival begins tomorrow with many people making their way to the site, last year around 45,000 people visited across the weekend.
"Our task is to try and make sure we make it as easy as possible and provide as much extra capacity as we can appropriate to the number of people who are expecting to see for that particular event."
That's Jonathan Denby the Head of Corporate Affairs for Greater Anglia, he told us what changes they've made to accommodate the demand.
"We'll be running trains with as many carriages as they can....
"There will also be a number of members of staff at Halesworth to provide assistance and answer any queries or provide any help that people need when they're travelling to and from the event."
Halesworth is the 'key location' for the next few days (25th - 28th) as that is where the shuttle buses to the Festival run from.
They have also slightly adjusted the train times to ensure there is enough time for people to get on and off the train with their luggage.
Because of this Jonathan is encouraging people to check when their trains are expected to leave in advance of their journeys.
He also asks that passengers be considerate of others while travelling and place their belongings in the allocated spaces.
"There are overhead racks, there is more space than you think underneath the seats.
"We absolutely encourage everybody to make sure that you leave seats free for customers rather than for bags."
