Man questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after Great Cornard hit and run
Police were called to Raydon Way early this morning
A man is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after a hit and run crash in Great Cornard early this morning.
Officers were called to reports a vehicle had hit a pedestrian on Raydon Way at around 1:13am.
A man in his 20s was taken to West Suffolk hospital with serious leg injuries, however there aren't thought to be life threatening or life changing.
A man in his 30s was arrested in the early hours of this morning and is being held at Bury St Edmunds Police Station.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch.
