Fundraiser for murdered Suffolk teenager raises thousands

A fundraiser set up to pay for the funeral of a Suffolk teenager who was fatally stabbed has raised thousands already.
As of Friday morning, the fundraiser was close to its £9000 goal, having raised £8,957 through over 500 donations.
Harley Barfield died on Wednesday after being stabbed in a car park in Strasbourg Square on Monday afternoon.
A 16 year old has been charged with his murder.
He appeared before Ipswich Magistrates’ Court and Ipswich Crown Court yesterday, Thursday 12 January.
He'll remain in custody until March, when a plea hearing will take place.
He cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age.
