Four arrested on suspicion of drugs offences in Bury St Edmunds

Police have also seized weapons, drugs and £20,000 in cash

Police have arrested four people on suspicion of drugs offences in Bury St Edmunds.

It's after a vehicle was stopped in Acacia Avenue yesterday (August 4).

Three men were arrested at the scene, with a small amount of suspected cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cash being recovered at the scene.

A nearby property was also searched, with around £20,000 in casg seized along with 90 grams of suspected cannabis, a lock knife and a sword.

A fourth man was arrested at the scene.

A 19 year old, 22 year old and a 20 year old were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying drugs.

A 21 year old was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying drugs, on suspicion of money laundering and possession with intent to supply drugs.

They were taken to Bury St Edmunds police station for questioning.
