Five teenagers charged after fight involving "wooden sticks or bats" in Ipswich
It happened at the Old Cattle Market Bus Station last week
Five people have been charged after a fight in central Ipswich, said to have involved bats or wooden sticks.
It happened between 7pm and 7:20pm on June 22 at the Old Cattle Market Bus Station on Turret Lane.
A group of people were arrested shortly after the incident and subsequently charged.
Among those charged are:
- Claudio Da Costa, 18, of Primrose Hill, Ipswich, was charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place - he is being held on remand ahead of an apperance at Ipswich Crown Court on July 21.
- Daniel Guedes, 18, of Broomwade Close, Ipswich, was charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place - he is being held on remand ahead of an apperance at Ipswich Crown Court on July 21.
- Laurynas Talacka, 18, Chevalier Street, Ipswich, was charged with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and breach of a criminal behaviour order - he is being held on remand ahead of an apperance at Ipswich Crown Court on July 21.
- A 17 year old boy from Ipswich was charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on 24 June and bailed ahead of a future court appearance.
