Explosives experts have had to be called in after an unexploded World War II bomb was discovered in a basement on the Suffolk-Cambridgeshire border.

Police were called to Isleham Marina, between Mildenhall and Soham, this morning.

A 50 metre cordon was put in place as bomb disposal teams from Colchester got to work.

The device has now been made safe and locals who were told to leave their homes are now being allowed back.
