Driver rescued after lorry full of turkeys ends up in ditch near Halesworth

A lorry driver has been resuced after a HGV full of Turkeys ended up in a ditch near Halesworth.

Fire crews from Halesworth, Bungay and Lowestoft were called at around 4:30am to Sparrowhawk Road.

The driver was released from his cab safely and police are now handling the scene.

Recovery efforts are ongoing.
