Police have named a driver killed in a crash on the A14 earlier this week.

39 year old Stuart Austin, from Stowmarket, was fatally injured in a collision between an Audi A3 and a lorry in a layby between Haughley and Woolpit at around 1:30am on Tuesday.

He was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

The crash led to a lengthy closure on the A14 Westbound on Tuesday.

His family have paid tribute, saying: “Stuart was a loving father, son, brother and uncle and will be dearly missed.”
