Child bitten by dog near Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward

Anyone who saw an incident where a dog bit a child in West Stow is asked to contact police.

It happened at around 3.30pm on Wednesday 3 March in King's Forest when a dog jumped up at the six-year-old.

The owner is described as being in her 40s, about five foot five, with blonde or light brown hair in a pony tail.

She had two dogs with her described as being "scruffy" and mottled brown in colour.

The child wasn't injured during the incident.
