New data from Deliveroo shows that 8.12pm on a Friday is the most popular time of the week for people in Ipswich to put in an order for takeaway food.

The app's marking its fourth anniversary in the town by revealing what locals like to eat most.

At the top of the table is Chicken Katsu Curry from Wagamama, followed by a doner kebeb from German Doner Kebab.

Third on the list is a Big Cheesy Lee Burger from Love Thy Burger, fourth is another burger, the Bacon Double Cheese from Byron Burgers.

And finally in fifth place is the Bombolini from Coco Di Mama Kitchens.

Since launching in Ipswich four years ago, more than 110 restaurants have signed up to the app, with over 310 jobs created in the local area - the majority of these being delivery riders.

Harison Foster, Regional Director for the UK said: "Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Ipswich over the past four years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work."
