Cyclist seriously injured in crash near Newmarket
The man in his 70s was involved in a collision with a van
Police are appealing for information after a crash new Newmarket at the weekend which left a cyclist seriously injured.
Officers were called to a collision on Ashley Road, between Newmarket and Ashley, at around 9:25am on Saturday (March 4).
The cyclist, a man in his 70s, was involved in a collision with a white Peugeot Partner van.
He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he remains.
PC Alex Bond, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the collision or either the cyclist or the van in the build up.
“Any dashcam footage will also be very helpful to me in my investigation.”
