A man's died in hospital after a crash in Ipswich

He was taken to hospital along with another person last week

Police have confirmed a man has now died in hospital following a crash in Ipswich last week.

Emergency services were called to Bloomfield Street at around 6.05pm on Wednesday 27th July to reports of a crash.

A Skoda Fabia had crashed into a parked car, which in turn damaged three other vehicles.

The driver and passenger of the Skoda were taken to hospital for treatment - police believe the driver may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.

The man in his 70s died in Addenbrooke's on Saturday.

Anyone who saw what happened is being asked to come forward.
