Two Just Stop Oil protestors have been charged after disruption on the M25 earlier this week - including a woman from Bury St Edmunds.

Charlotte Kirin, 53, of Peckham Street and 55 year-old Paul Bleach, of Locarno Road, Portsmouth, were charged with intentionally recklessly causing a public nuisance.

They were detained at Junctions 31 and 27 of the M25 respectively.

Just Stop Oil campaigners have climbed onto gantries over the road in an attempt to block traffic.

Separately 19 year old Scarlett Possnett, also of Bury St Edmunds, appeared in court accused of taking part in a protest on Tower Bridge in London.

Along with three other defendants, she pleaded not guilty to committing wilful obstruction of a highway at the landmark on April 8.
