10 year old boy taken to hospital after Bury St Edmunds hit and run
The driver failed to stop at the scene
Police are looking for witnesses, after a ten year old boy was injured in a hit and run in Bury St Edmunds.
It happened at approximately 2:20pm on Saturday 30 December on Risbygate Street.
A car – which police believe to be black in colour - collided with a 10-year-old boy who was crossing the road using the pelican crossing near the traffic lights by Chalk Road North.
The driver, a woman, shouted at the boy but failed to stop at the scene.
She is described as white, with long, black hair.
The boy sustained a leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
