Death of person recovered from River Orwell not suspicious

Police say a file will be prepared for the coroner.

The death of a person whose body was recovered from the River Orwell on Sunday 22nd August is not being treated as suspicious.

Police say they were called to the water near The Strand in Wherstead at around 7.45am.

Suffolk Police told us they understand Suffolk Fire and Rescue, RNLI, HM Coastguard, and ambulance services were all on the scene too.
