Body found in search for missing man in Ipswich

Police searching for a missing man in Ipswich have discovered a body.

Julian De Bono was last seen on Yarmouth Road at around 1.55am on Sunday 10th December.

Underwater search teams found the body in the River Gipping in Ipswich yesterday afternoon (16th December) just after 3pm.

The body is yet to be formally identified, while the family of the missing man have been informed.

A post-mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of death, Suffolk Police are currently treating it as unexplained.
