Body discovered in Bury St Edmunds
A police cordon is still in place
A police cordon is still currently in place after a body was discovered in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were informed of the discovery just after 11am on Friday 28 April ; a member of the public found the body of a man near to the Ram Meadow car park in the town centre.
Formal identification procedures in respect of the deceased have not yet taken place, but the family of the man, aged in his twenties, have been informed.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained while enquiries remain ongoing and a Home Office post-mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow.
A scene remains in place while the investigation into the cause of the man’s death continues.
