Suffolk Police are appealing for witnesses after two children were threatened

Officers in Suffolk are appealing for witnesses after reports that a man threatened two children who were walking to school in Beccles.

Suffolk Police say he swore at the children before telling them he had a knife.

The incident happened on Tuesday 5th December at around 8.20am on Grove Road.

In a statement released by Suffolk Constabulary, the unknown suspect is described as, "being aged in his 30s, with a short black beard and wearing a black Adidas tracksuit. He was carrying a black Adidas duffle bag.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or with information is being asked to call Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference number: 37/70146/23.
