For the first time in seven years, Banham Zoo has welcomed brand-new hatchings of Chilean flamingo chicks!

The Zoo says the chicks are healthy and enjoying their first weeks of life and will soon be ready to be introduced to their existing flock.
Three of the four Chilean flamingo chicks were hand-reared by their keepers after undergoing incubation in their specially controlled incubators. One of the youngsters, however, hatched naturally amongst their flock of flamingos.
This is the first time in seven years that Banham Zoo has been lucky enough to welcome chicks
