Arson outside Haverhill mosque being treated as hate crime
A building used by the Muslim community in the Suffolk town was targeted
Police are treating a fire outside of a mosque in Haverhill as a potential hate crime.
A wheelie bin was set alight outside of the building off Camps Road on Tuesday 17 May, with the incident being reported to police just after 4am.
Nobody was hurt during the incident, but police think it was an arson attack.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses.
