Shop worker threatened with knife during Lowestoft armed robbery

A man threatened a worker with a knife and stole a large amount of money

Police are looking for witnesses after an armed robbery in a Lowestoft convenience store.

It happened yesterday (Sunday 14th May) in Pammy's Store on Beresford Road between 11:45 and 11:55am, when a person threatened a worker with a knife and stole a large amount of money in a bag.

The shop worker's said to be shaken but unharmed.

The suspect is described as wearing all black clothing and was last seen heading towards Love Road.

Officers are now looking to speak to any witnesses who may have been in the area, or anyone living in the area with CCTV or doorbell cameras.

They are also asking any motorists with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle who were driving in the vicinity of Beresford Road around the time of incident to review the footage.
