Appeal after Fred the tortoise stolen from back garden in Lowestoft

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a tortoise was stolen from a back garden in Lowestoft.
'Fred', who is approximately 43 years old, was taken sometime between 30 September and Wednesday (11 October), from a home on Seago Street.
He is 'described as being the size of a bowler hat with paint splashes on his shell.'
Witnesses, or anyone with any information about Fred's whereabouts, are being urged to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
