Motorcyclist dies following Acton crash

A second rider's in hospital in a serious condition

A man has died following a serious crash in Acton.

It happened on Waldingfield Road, at the junction with Tentree Road, at approximately 12.50pm yesterday, Sunday 19 May.

Two motorcycles were involved – a black BMW and a Ducati.

Police, Suffolk Fire and Rescue, air ambulance and ambulance crew were all called to the scene.

One motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, died at the scene.

The other motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition,

Officers are appealing for any witnesses and are asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam to review the footage.
