Abnormal load expected to cause delays in Suffolk this morning

Police are escorting a load weighing around 70,000kg

Drivers in Suffolk are being warned they may face delays on their journeys this morning (16th October).

It's as police escort an abnormal load through the county.

They're escorting two gas turbine accessories, which are each 17 metres in length, and weigh 30,000kg and 40,000kg respectively.

They're being escorted from Ipswich Docks to the Mid Suffolk Business Park in Eye from 10am.
