A12 near Ipwswich closed both ways after 'significant oil spill'

The clean up of a fuel spill is expected to leave the road and interchange closed until the afternoon.

Police are at the scene of what they are calling a 'serious' road traffic collision.

An oil tanker has overturned, leading to a significant fuel spill, closing a section of the a12 northbound from Junction 32B.

The interchange is closed, while diversions are in place.

Officers were called at 4:30am today (21/04).
