Martin Kemp and Michael Buble in conversation on Greatest Hits Radio
The special show aired on Sunday 27th March
Last updated 5th Apr 2022
We created the perfect present for Mother's Day, when Martin Kemp was joined by Mum's favourite singing-sensation Michael Bublé. On Sunday 27th March, we celebrated with a special show where Michael spoke about his brand new album here on Greatest Hits Radio.
As well as being a multiple Grammy-winning artist, Michael Bublé is known for his incredible vocals, cheery Christmas songs, and his smooth love ballads. The Canadian singer has been creating amazing hits like 'Feeling Good' and 'Haven't Met You Yet' since his self-titled debut album came out almost two decades ago. He released his fantastic new album 'Higher' on 25th March 2022.
In our Mother's Day programme, Martin chatted with Michael about his new album and all things Mother's Day, as well as playing the Biggest Songs of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. They also shared a few surprises from Michael's new album in the hour-long special as well!
'Higher' is the Michael Bublé's 11th studio album and as well as new tracks, it features a cover of Paul McCartney's 'Valentine' as well as Bob Dylan's 'Make You Feel My Love’. Michael also duetted with American musician Willie Nelson on his song ‘Crazy’.
Prior to the full album coming out, Michael released the single 'I'll Never Not Love You' on 22nd February, along with a music video that samples iconic scenes from classic rom-com films including Titanic and Love Actually. The video also revealed that his wife Luisana Lopilato is pregnant with their fourth child.
The album is available to buy now from Michael's website, and is also available as an exclusive CD that includes the bonus track 'Pennies From Heaven' and on exclusive silver vinyl.
