Summer of Love Live: Greatest Hits Radio's ice cream tour 🍦

This summer, we're celebrating the return of live music with Summer of Love Live! We're asking you to send in your favourite live music memories, playing out live albums every week in-full and asking our DJs about the best gigs they went to.

But that's not all... we travelled around the UK serving up ice cream out of our Greatest Hits Radio ice cream van!

The van gave out the tastiest summer treat for free all over the UK. served up alongside the biggest hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s, which you can expect to hear on Greatest Hits Radio.

Where was the Greatest Hits Radio ice cream van?

We were in the following cities on these dates:

London: 16th - 21st August

Birmingham: 22nd - 24th August

Manchester: 25th-27th August

Liverpool: 28th - 29th August

What ice creams were on offer?

At Greatest Hits Radio, we're fans of the biggest hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s, so we HAD to give them suitable names! You could choose from Whippy Houston, FABBA, Flakewood Mac, Meltin' John, Chilly Ocean, Ice Queen, Sprinkle Ballet or Madonna Crazy For Cones.

Oh, and you could have asked for Mayo if you fancied some white chocolate sauce!
