Here's how to listen to our special four-part series on Women in Music
Jackie Brambles speaks to the revolutionary stars!
Last updated 5th May 2021
The Greatest Brits: Women in Music is a special four-part series telling the story of iconic British female artists.
In conversation with journalist and broadcaster Jackie Brambles, we’ll hear the first-hand accounts of the women who changed music through the 80s and 90s and helped to re-shape the British music industry.
Jackie finds out what it was like to be a female in an industry dominated by men. She looks at how these women not only broke through the glass ceiling, but opened up the music business to the singers and songwriters of today.
From dealing with sexism to championing equality and making some amazing music along the way.
The four part series starts Wednesday 14th April at 9pm and is repeated on Sundays at 9pm, only on Greatest Hits Radio.
