Woman who concealed drugs in underwear jailed
34-year-old Stacie Sullivan has been sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court
A woman who was found in possession of over 40 wraps of class A and B drugs has been jailed.
Stacie Sullivan, aged 34, of no-fixed-address, was sentenced to 30-months behind bars at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Tuesday (14 June) after admitting possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.
The court heard how officers stopped a black Seat Leon which was travelling on Lovatt Street in Stoke-on-Trent on 13 October 2021.
Sullivan, who was the rear-seat passenger, was found in possession of heroin, monkey dust and £285 in cash.
She was arrested and released on conditional police bail.
Staffordshire Police say on 10 November, police received reports of a drug operation taking place at an address on Ripon Road in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers attended and discovered a Kinder egg case containing 46 deals of monkey dust and ten deals of heroin – valued at approximately £1,000, and a paper tick-list.
Sullivan, who was present at the address, was found in possession of 31 wraps of monkey dust and 17 deals of heroin – valued at roughly £800.
Sergeant Marc Proctor, the officer in charge of the case, said: “Sullivan did not learn from her previous encounter with police and was intent on continuing her criminality.
“I am happy with the sentencing and hope it serves as a reminder of the various ways in which officers are proactively targeting the supply of illegal drugs within our communities.”
