Appeal after dies in Staffordshire crash
Police were called to Macclesfield Road in Leek on Saturday morning
A 31-year-old woman from Cheshire has died in a crash in Leek, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The woman was found unresponsive inside a white Audi A3 on Macclesfield Road at 03:10, and paramedics pronounced her dead a short time later.
Staffordshire Police are now appealing for any information or witnesses.
PC Martin Colclough, the officer in charge of the case, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or those who may have relevant dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident."
Police say members of the public are reminded not to speculate regarding the circumstances of the incident on social media while the investigation continues.
