Woman arrested after man assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent
Police are questioning a woman from Stoke-on-Trent in connection with an assault which left a man with facial injuries.
Staffordshire Police say a man suffered a facial injury following the incident on Vale Street at around 7:20pm on Thursday and was taken to hospital.
A 34-year-old woman from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm with intent, possession of a sharp pointed article in a public place, and possession of a controlled Class A drug.
She remains in custody.
An investigation is now underway and anyone with information is asked to call 101 or report online quoting incident 590 of 19 November.
