Two more people have been arrested as Staffordshire Police continue to investigate violent disorder following the Southport stabbings.

Officers say they arrested a 38-year-old on suspicion of violent disorder and assault by beating of an emergency worker, and a 60-year-old on suspicion of violent disorder, in Tamworth yesterday.

They remain in custody for questioning.

The force also says it's assessing bodycam and drone footage in an effort to find anyone who took part in rioting.
