Two men charged after £30k cocaine haul seized in Stoke

It comes after officers stopped a car in Burslem

Police in Staffordshire have charged two men, after officers found more than £30,000-worth of cocaine and cannabis during searches in Stoke-on-Trent.

David Chomyn, 27, of Newcastle-under-Lyme, has been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug (cocaine), conspiracy to supply a class B controlled drug (cannabis) and driving a motor vehicle dangerously.

Nathan Minshall, 27, of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug (cocaine) and conspiracy to supply a class B controlled drug (cannabis).

It comes after officers stopped a car in Burslem on Friday (9 May).

A number of addresses were also searched, leading to the discovery of the drugs.

Both men appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Saturday (10 May) and were bailed ahead of their next appearance due at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in June.
