Man airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after lorry crash in Cheshire
Emergency services were called to the scene near Nantwich at lunchtime
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a crash involving two lorries in Cheshire.
Emergency services were called to the A534 Wrexham Road in Ridley, near Nantwich at lunchtime.
One man had to be cut free from a HGV. He was then taken to hospital by air ambulance.
A North West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.54 to respond to an RTC involving two HGVs.
"One man was released from his vehicle and taken to hospital with serious abdominal injuries."
