Two people have been arrested after police stopped a car in Stoke.

They say it happened yesterday afternoon (March 2nd) after those inside the vehicle attracted the attention of officers.

The driver was uninsured, unlicensed and a stop search of those inside revealed a Rambo blade - which has now been taken off the streets.

In a post on social media, the police said: "#S3ARV have stopped this Golf in Stoke this afternoon after it's occupants attracted attention.

"Driver uninsured, unlicensed and stop search of both occupants revealed this rambo blade.

"Pro active policing taking weapons off the streets and two under arrest."
