Tributes have been paid to a writer who died in a crash in Staffordshire in September.

Shejuti Pasha was a passenger in a vehicle which was involved in a collision on High Street, Knutton, just after 10.30pm on Wednesday 25 September.

The 32-year-old was taken to hospital but later died as a result of her injuries.

In tribute, Shejuti’s family said: “Shejuti was pursuing her dream of becoming a famous writer before she passed away.

“She was an inspiring writer who had so much to give in this world.

“She was one of the most determined people there ever was. Her smile can brighten up a whole room and her intelligence was a sight to behold.

“We will all miss her dearly.”

A 22-year-old man, from the Newcastle-under-Lyme area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving. He has been released on conditional police bail.
