Teenage boy among three more people charged with violent disorder in Stoke-on-Trent and Tamworth

Three more people, including a teenage boy, have been charged as part of an ongoing investigation into violent disorder in Stoke-on-Trent and Tamworth.

Matthew Rush, 30, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and Mitchell Cleaver, 25, of Burton-on-Trent, have been charged with violent disorder.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, of Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with violent disorder.

All three are due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Friday 16 August.

Staffordshire Police have now arrested more than 40 people and charged a total of 12 as part of their investigation into the disorder in Stoke-on-Trent on 3 August and Tamworth on 4 August.
