Three more arrests in connection with Stoke-on-Trent house fire
A woman and a teenage girl were left fighting for their lives
Three more people have been arrested in connection with a house fire in Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent last month.
Officers were called to a property on Beverley Drive, at about 10.55pm, on Thursday 16 December 2021.
A 31-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl remain in critical but stable condition in hospital following the fire.
A 20-year-old man from the Stoke-on-Trent area was arrested on 19 January 2022 on suspicion of attempted murder, a 21-year-old man from Oldham was arrested on suspicion of violence against the person, and a 17-year-old girl, from the Manchester area, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
All three have been placed on conditional police bail while inquiries continue.
The arrests bring the total number of people detained over the fire to nine.
