Three charged after £75000-worth of drugs found in Staffordshire

Three people have been charged after Staffordshire Police found £75000-worth of drugs and £12000 in cash in a property in Dudley.

Police carried out searches after stopping a car in Lichfield on Tuesday (24th June). Cocaine and a mobile phone were found.

A house search was then conducted and three people were arrested.

A Staffordshire police spokesperson said: "Kyle Atkinson, 32, of Lichfield, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine and a detainee refusing to provide a sample for a drug test.

"William Haycox, 29, of Dudley, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cannabis and possessing criminal property.

"Laura Watton, 32, of Dudley, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis and possessing criminal property."

They will appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today.
