Police appeal after thousands of pounds worth of items stolen in Kidsgrove

Police are appealing for information after tens of thousands of pounds worth of items were stolen and damaged from two mobile homes in Kidsgrove

Officers were called to Hardingswood Road shortly after 6:20pm on Saturday 29 August to reports of jewellery, cash and other items have been taken whilst the owners were away.

Detective Constable David Jackson from CID North said: “We’re really interested in hearing from anyone who might have any information as to who’s responsible for this.

“It’s believed the offenders used a vehicle to get to and from the scene so if you saw anything suspicious in the area at that time then please get in touch.

“Many items, of great personal significance to the victims, have been taken and we’re continuing to carry out extensive enquiries into reuniting these people with their belongings.
