Third teenager dies in Penkridge crash

Police investigating a car crash in Penkridge, which killed two boys, have confirmed that a third teenager has died.

The 17-year-old girl was a passenger in the Ford KA, which crashed on Cannock Road on Saturday.

She was taken to hospital for treatment but died as a result of her injuries on Tuesday.

Two teenage boys, who also died in the collision, have previously been named as Dafydd Hûw Craven-Jones, 18, of Tanyfron, Wrexham, and Morgan Jones, 17, of Coedpoeth, Wrexham.

A 17-year-old girl is still in hospital in a stable condition.

Police say the are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
