Teenager stabbed in Crewe as boys roam streets in balaclavas
A 14, 16 and 17-year-old boy have been arrested.
Police in Crewe have arrested two teenagers following an incident at the Brookhouse estate.
The arrests followed reports of people running round the estate with balaclavas. Two boys aged 17 and 14 were arrested on suspicion of an offensive weapon.
The 17-year-old boy has been charged with possession of a knife and will appear at West Cheshire Magistrates today (3 June).
The 14-year-old has been released on condition bail pending further enquiries.
As part of enquiries into the incident, a 16-year-old boy from Crewe was also arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
This relates to an incident in Mount Pleasant Park, near Dutton Way and Mount Pleasant, where an 19-year-old man was assaulted with a knife.
Insp Andy smith said: "Police were on the scene very quickly and a number of arrests were made. Understandably residents will be concerned and officers will be in the area continuing their enquiries, to provide reassurance and answer any questions residents may have."
