Teenager charged after fail-to-stop collision in Staffordshire

The victim of the crash remains in hospital in a stable condition

A man has been charged and remanded into custody following a non-stop collision in Burton, Staffordshire last month.

Police were initially called at 3.03am on Friday (15 October) to Station Street following reports of public order offences.

Ethan James Oliver, 18, has been charged with Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 12 November and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 10 December.
