Stoke-on-Trent man charged with manslaughter of brother

Martin Bevilagua is due to appear in court today

A man has been charged with the manslaughter of his brother in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to reports of a serious assault near Hartshill, on 20 June.

Martin Bevilagua, 45, from Stoke, has been charged with manslaughter following the death of Jozef Bevilagua in June 2021.

Jozef, 46, was taken to hospital, but died a few days later.

Martin is due to appear before magistrates at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Tuesday 24 May.
